I have a Xubuntu linux host and a Windows XP guest and the bidrectional clipboard works 99% of the time in the "copy from linux, paste to windows" direction. It works 1% of the time in the "copy from windows, paste to linux" direction. It's been like that for me for some few years now and I've just lived with it because it's a minor nuisance only.
Is there some secret sauce to make this work better? If I get with the times and go to Windows7 or 8 will it work better? Anybody with a Windows 7 or 8 guest who can comment on the bidirectional clipboard?
