You have a point. As a test I tried to copy from an XP guest and then 
paste into a FreeBSD guest. No dice. I had to paste into the Linux host 
first, then copy again from Linux and paste into FreeBSD (actually I have 
an idea that that has something to do with XP's weird clipboard handling).
