Can you ping google.com by ip address (I.E. ping 74.125.239.5)? If
yes, check your dns setup. If no, run traceroute to google.com from the
host to see where it fails (though my guess is that it would be most
likely at your gateway (I.E. your guest)). If it is failing at your
host, I would run tcpdump on your host's vboxnet0, looking at the
traffic on your guest's internet interface would probably provide
clues too.
