I downloaded 2 torrent files. I opened them in a torrent client and downloaded 3 iso files for a Debian OS.I was not aware that you only had to load the 1st iso file in VBox. What are the other 2 iso files used for? Thanks for your help.
Hi John,Usually the extra ISO files just contain extra packages that most people wouldn't select during installation. If you have Internet access most Linux distributions have some form of network installer where those packages can be installed by downloading them once you have done a basic operating system installation. Note, this isn't particularly relevant or specific to Virtualbox and might be better asked on a Debian mailing list, where you're likely to get a more informed, and accurate answer to your questions.
Hope that helps. -- Regards, Giles Coochey, CCNP, CCNA, CCNAS NetSecSpec Ltd +44 (0) 7983 877438 http://www.coochey.net http://www.netsecspec.co.uk gi...@coochey.net
