Hi,
VirtualBox-4.3-4.3.28_100309_fedora18-1.x86_64 (running on FC21 with
Mate desktop):
Many problems.
1. Auto capture of pointer does not work. Perhaps this is a problem with
the guest (Knoppix 7.4.2 64bit).
2. Clipboard is not shared even thought the setting show that
Clipboard Shared, Drag'nDrop are both Bidirectional.
3. I selected a shared folder in the settings to be automountable.
It does not get automounted.
4. The gui starts in full screen mode. But the drop down VB menu when
you move the pointer to the top edge or bottom edge of the guest desktop
does not open up so that I can install the guest tools.
5. Networking:
eth1 has an ip address of 10...something.
eth0 is unable to obtain an IP address from the host, and the
guest net icon on bottom bar of the guest desktop GUI keeps spinning
waiting to obtain an IP address.
On the host, the modules are loaded:
$ lsmod | grep -i vbox
vboxpci 23272 0
vboxnetadp 25670 0
vboxnetflt 27655 0
vboxdrv 433033 5 vboxnetadp,vboxnetflt,vboxpci
But the interfaces for vbox on the host are absent:
# ifconfig

And that's it.
No vbox interfaces.
What am I NOT doing right here??
