After installing 5.0.17 r105881 Guest Additions update for Linux guests on a CentOS 7.2 guest the VM never finishes booting into the GUI. Just get a black screen with a cursor. It can boot successfully to text mode, runlevel 1 or 3. Attempting "telinit 5" ends up with a black screen. Tried re-installing 5.0.17 to no avail - still black screen.
