Could not exactly replicate the problem upgrading a different CentOS 7.2 
guest from 5.0.16 guest additions to 5.0.217. Instead of hanging at a 
blank screen the guest boots up in reduced resolution and there is no 
mouse pointer visible. Mouse does work "blind" but is difficult to 
control. Will send the logs separately directly to you. Please let me 
know if you need anything else.
