I am running Vbox; had it create a XP system from the CD furnished with my
old computer.
This process has run well with no problems. I run my old software under the
XP just as
I had on my old computer.
My problem is the XP system keeps telling me that the software needs to be
activated
within X amount of days or else. Well the CD from Dell has no codes to
register it
with. According to Dell, the codes are placed in the firmware of the
computer and is
not available to them. I guess that means the dell computer registered
itself.
Anyone had this problem and how do you get around it.
