Thank you. I tried this last night. Step #1 failed:

$ sudo kextload -b org.virtualbox.kext.VBoxDrv
Password:
Executing: /usr/bin/kmutil load -b org.virtualbox.kext.VBoxDrv
Kernel request failed: (libkern/kext) kext (kmod) start/stop routine failed
(-603946985)

Undaunted I proceeded to steps #2 and #3, then ran the *.pkg installer.
When the installer said to approve Oracle, I switched over, did so, and
rebooted when told to do so. After the reboot I was able to open a Win7 VM
with IE11. The About box said I was running 6.1.16.

I have not tired running the commands in step #5. I don't know they do but
all I need is a VM with IE11 for a little testing. (Thankfully, the new
products under development need only target evergreen browsers.)
