Hi Bruce and Thad

When I installed VB 6.1.16 into Catalina I had some difficulties to set up the
launch of Win8.1 in the VB. I think I had problem to fix the Beidged Adapter
(adapter 1) and NAT (adapter 2).I am not expert on VBs and OSX command lines.
So, when I migrate OSX and VB to the newest versions, should I take care to set
up any configuration? Or will they be automatically configured? Please let me
know the procedure to migrate them (if possible the step-by-step, please). I
have some important software into Win 8.1 and it will be catastrophic if I miss
them in case I need to reinstall Win 8.1 again. :(
Thank you a lot!
Cheers,Reinaldo.

I have a MacBook 12" dual-core m7 with 8GB RAM, and macOS Big Sur 11.6. It was
running VB 6.1.16 r140961. When I saw this post, I thought, "Update? Why not!"
and updated to  VB 6.1.26 r145957. This works, too, though I had to reauthorize
it in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> General, "Allow apps
downloaded from:".
As a caution, I rarely use VirtualBox anymore, not since Microsoft dropped IE
support and I can use Edge/Chromium. I have no Windows apps installed in my VMs.

Hi VB users,
I have VB 6.1.16 r140961 installed in my Macbook Pro OS X Catalina 10.15.7.
This Macbook has the fingerprint identify sensor (Touch ID - Apple T2 Security
chip), and the VB runs Windows 8.1 well.
However, I would like to update my OS to Big Sur 11.x, and I’m not sure if the
VB will continue to run well. As I could understand, it seems VB isn’t
completely compatible to Big Sur, is it?
Please let me know if this migration can be done safely or if I expect the VB
6.2.
Thank you!
