You might also want to look at the rpmrebuild tool. rpmrebuild --edit-spec --package VirtualBox-6.1(whatever).x86_64.rpm It loads vi editor, allowing you to edit the spec file. Once you exit, the RPM is rebuilt and you end up with a new RPM, usually in ~/rpmbuild/RPMS/x86_64/ Hope this helps.
