hi all ! Where can I find some explanation on the topic of kernel 2.6.18 and VBox ?
According to Innotek: Kernels 2.6.18 to 2.6.18.2 contain a race condition (which was unfortunately backported to the Ubuntu 6.06 Server and 6.10 kernels) that can cause boot crashes in virtual machines. My problem: I need info, because openSUSE 10.2 sometimes fails to boot, after .vdi being copied from Windows to Linux Host. But if I install and use the VM on the same host OS, no problem happens. openSUSE 10.2 is based on linux 2.6.18.2. I want to know if my problem is anyhow connected to Innotek's explanation.
