I downloaded a couple. Since I never got my own ReactOS install to run on vbox, I took that one.
1. I cannot create a new VM to use this vdi because it is already registered. 2. I have no way that I know of to get a preexisting entry into the programs ~/.VirtualBox xml file to use the reactos ...xml that came with this "appliance." An orderly means of "installing" these things is needed. 3. BUG: The program segfault when I try to find an existing .vdi to associate with a preexisting VM. The other one that would only run with qemu was DeliLinux which is a 2.4 kernel slackware derivitive. The more up-to-date "appliance" availabe was for a non-UI version. The main weakness of Deli is that there is no orderly upgrade path (a Slackware problem). If there were a full vdi on that site, I assume I will have the same problem "installing" the reactos vdi. Actually, Deli is the ideal VM because it is designed to run in as little as 16meg of memory. Give it 32meg and it can do most anything. That leaves the rest of the memory for host and this can be critical if I want to use VMs at all! _______________________________________________ vbox-users mailing list [email protected] http://vbox.innotek.de/mailman/listinfo/vbox-users
