server configured in stand-alone mode in the same fashion I have for the past 9
years. Beginning with vbox 2.0 I started having slow _write_ problems 'to the
server', read performance is fine. Killing AVG solved the problem. One other
issue is that when avgcc.exe runs, it fails to create a systray icon, so I
suspect there was a problem with that avg config or it's ability to work with
SP3 on win xp. What version of windows do you have virtualized and what type of
host are you running on? I have an openSuSE 11.0 x86_64 with the WinXP SP3
guest.
