[3.0.4]Windows[HOST]-ubuntu[GUEST]-Guest Additions Not Working...
Hi,
I have problem.
Host is Windows 7 32bit RC 7100 / Windows Vista 32bit.
Guest is ubuntu Linux Desktop 9.04 32bit.
I did a fresh install of ubuntu to VirtualBox 3.0.4 Virtual Machine.
Then I installed Linux Guest Additions using the instructions on the
VirtualBox forum.
When I try to change Visual Effects from "None" to "Normal" or "Extra",
(right click Desktop/Change Desktop Background/Visual Effects)
I receive error message: "Desktop effects could not be enabled"
This worked fine in version 2.2.4.
Anyone else have this issue?
VirtualBox team is aware of this issue, but they need further
information from other people like you!
