given the obvious interest in a text-only mailing list, perhaps
oracle/sun is prepared to rethink their original plan. because if
they don't, there *will* be a mailing list, it will simply end up
elsewhere, outside of their jurisdiction. would oracle/sun actually
be satisfied with that turn of events?
