I´m very pro-mailing list. But I think that approach is wrong, for a
number of reasons. People switch jobs, people forget to renew domain
names, etc.

Why not use an existing infrastructure like Sourceforge?

I have already requested vbox-users-commun...@lists.sourceforge.net.
(under a new project titled "vbox-users" as it would not allow me to
create a project with the name vbox. I also plan to use that project
name to upload bash scripts and other tools that might be of help for
vbox users.

The mailing list should be operative in the next 24hs according to sourceforge.

Sounds good?.
