I was able to cheat with this. If you rename the existing domain and then
add and rename is back I was able to get it working again
mv /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.com /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.old
/var/vpopmail/bin/vadddomain thedomain.com postmasterpassword
mv /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.com /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.new
mv /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.old /var/vpopmail/domains/thedoamin.com
This will fix the /var/qmail/users/aliases file. Also your UID/GID numberic
values must match with what they were originally setup with.
