Can you do a tail -f /nfs/log/vcld.log >From your Management Node? This is show us the log of what is going on when you create/load up an image on VCL
And copy the log of when your Linux Image fails. I'm thinking you don't have SSH to automatically on boot and you don't have the ETH adapters to be automatic on boot? That was my issue with my Linux Images, posting up the logs would be helpful to help trouble shot the issue. Please use www.pastebin.com and link us to the log there :) -Alex On Thu, Dec 15, 2011 at 10:09 AM, Evelio Quiros <evq...@fiu.edu> wrote: > Interestingly, the reservation fails for a linux base image, but > succeeds for a Windows base image. > > Do I need to do something different for Linux base images ? > > Al Quiros > Florida International University > > > From: Al Quiros <evq...@fiu.edu> > Reply-To: <vcl-user@incubator.apache.org> > Date: Thu, 15 Dec 2011 16:33:20 +0000 > To: "vcl-user@incubator.apache.org" <vcl-user@incubator.apache.org> > Subject: Cannot make reservations with Static IP > > Hello, > > I recently switched my Management Node to set static IP for the public > network.
