Using the patch provided by Artur, playing a finished/ongoing recording is 
smoother than before. 
Sometimes the player stops in the middle of a recording due to a zero size 
request. Here is the log:

As you can see the requested size is increasing until it reaches the max buf. 
This is also a period with freezes in the video (late delivery).
