Ok, this was explained to me privately...
In German, the word for "yet" is the same as the word for "still".
("noch").
And he wrote "to" instead of "too". Thus:
"...since Turbine dev is still too dynamic"
So, reading that, my response is that creating yet another solution that is
halfway implemented is not a good reason to start another project. If you
want to see Turbine become less "dynamic", then you should join the Turbine
project and help make it less dynamic.
I'm strongly -1 to adding that code to Velocity.
