Updated the whiteboard stuff (whiteboard/geir/listener)

Removed any more typecasting yecchyness - the EventCartridge does it
better now.

And note again that we are just playing with the chaining.  I think that
there will be places that we can use it, and some event handlers just
won't make sense to be chained.
