I can imagine it. Indeed, I don't have to this chaps thread is full of
stuff that could be easily accomplished in the backend without Core
Velocity changes. :-) 

If I worked with a developer who was asking the specific question
(presented as "evidence" that Velocity Core needs numbers) - I'd suggest
adding one line to the backend and be done.

P.S. And yes, I must admit I would really like to see 1.3.1 released...
and /velocity/tools/docs hosted on jakarta instead of various other
insundry locales. ;-)
