Hi,

sorry if this came across wrong. I just wanted to know in which areas
FreeMaker has improved over the last major releases. 

As it stands, I do consider the number of Velocity functions to be
good enough to get the value done. I just wanted to know where in your
or Jonathans' opinion FreeMaker is superior to Velocity so I can
understand where Velocity can improve.

My mail wasn't meant to put FreeMarker down. I apologize for that.
