We don't consider it a vascular device. For MO250 we do answer "1" for infusion therapy, For MO810 we enter the patient's level of independence with managing the infusion equipment. We do not use V58.81 (vascular catheter) but we do use V58.82 (non-vascular catheter).

Is a subq disc (when used for pain control or med infusion for example)considered a vascular device or not? For those of you in Home Care when answering MO250 and MO810 how do you answer them and when coding do you use IDC-9 code V58.81 or V58.82?
