We have seen some symptomatic thrombus formation in children, mostly
kids with renal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and some CF
patients, but not often. One of the CF kids had an underlying
hematologic disorder.

Is it tracked data that you can put your finger on? Then maybe you can

Our doc's are mentioning they are seeing more DVT's associated
with PICC
lines. We use Bard Groshong PICC's, and in the ICU the Per Q
Cath TLC's.
Anyone else seeing more thrombus formations? Insertions haven't
changed, we
use ultrasound guidance, and modified seldinger technique.
        Stumped!
