Well, I have heard all I need to hear. I was considering rejoining the Vascular yahoo group (I had left due to too much email) after AVA, because I thought I may be missing out on some communications, and also because with this list going to website the email volume would be less. After this unprofessional display, I will not support that list. Doug made assumptions or misunderstood what Sarah was trying to do. I do not recall ever being asked for $$ to join the website or even a discussion regarding that possibility. ALL websites have banner ads, as web designing and maintenance is NOT free. This is hardly turning a website to a "PROFIT CENTER" as it was put. Then, he chose to post a private email and his response, but not the response of the writer???? Now I hear that one of the nicest, fairest, most knowledgeable people I know has also been banned from the list. I do not want to be a member of a group like that. I am thrilled to see the venous list evolve to a website, and have access to all the great documentation that has been shared over time.
