I agree whole-heartedly with Chris and with all who have responded with various degrees of outrage! I will totally support Sarah and her website. I will however, miss the emails - I love reading them! Sounds like there will be a forum on her site that will accomplish the same thing. I would definitely like to see that be a part of the site. The help and information I have gleaned from this list serve is tremendous and so greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work, Sarah, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help from this end of things.

I was considering rejoining the Vascular yahoo group (I had left due to too much email) after AVA, because I thought I may be missing out on some communications, and also because with this list going to website the email volume would be less. After this unprofessional display, I will not support that list. Doug made assumptions or misunderstood what Sarah was trying to do. I do not recall ever being asked for $$ to join the website or even a discussion regarding that possibility. ALL websites have banner ads, as web designing and maintenance is NOT free. This is hardly turning a website to a "PROFIT CENTER" as it was put. Then, he chose to post a private email and his response, but not the response of the writer???? Now I hear that one of the nicest, fairest, most knowledgeable people I know has also been banned from the list. I do not want to be a member of a group like that. I am thrilled to see the venous list evolve to a website, and have access to all the great documentation that has been shared over time. Not only that but Sarah is not on the group to even see the comments and Doug has also chosen to take me out of the group on a permanent ban. Interesting how the vascular group is censured when Doug does not like the commentary. I think I will stick with venous. I just thought you all should know. Someone should post Sarah's response, but I doubt it will ever go through as Doug seems to be sitting at the computer reading every post and picking and choosing. I hate discrimination in any form. This type of behavior and censure simply degrades his list group. ------------------------------------ Nancy Moureau President [EMAIL PROTECTED] 302 Hollywood Forest Dr Orange Park, FL 32003 tel: 1-888-714-1951 fax: 904-264-6887 www.piccexcellence.com ------------------------------------ ********************Confidentiality Notice******************** This message is intended for the sole use of the individual and entity to whom it is addressed, and may contain information that is privileged, confidential and exempt from disclosure under applicable law.
