Hello to all, We are looking to start using ultrasound for PICC placement for infants and children. We are looking for information from pediatric picc or iv teams.
What type of pediatric PICC's do you place? How many Pediatric PICCs do you place a year? In what department are Pediatric PICCs placed? (IR, bedside etc). What do you use for pain, lido, emla? Do you use sedation? What type and on what age groups? Do you use ultrasound? What age groups? Would you be willing to share policies? Any input is appreciated and thanks for the assistance.
