Tim,
The vein walls are very thin, and I only see them when the vein wall is
thickened, for example if it is phlebotic.
Please understand there is no set amount of blood flow that must remain in
the vein. We don't really know. Just as important as the amount of flow
inside the vessel, are 2 other components, the condition of the vein and
intima as well as the underlying risk factors the patient has from his
disease processes.
