We have run the 6.5.5 client on these machines with no reported errors, however, to me it seems like that version just isn't smart enough to know about BCD, so it doesn't complain, but with version 7 on the client, it starts to complain, so I'm thinking that version is "noticing something is wrong" and is then complaining...

I've got a case open about this and Symantec is working on a fix, but is having some issues with that... At this time, my windows admins are saying this isn't a huge issue since they have to build the machine before we can restore data to it... but I'm still waiting on the fix as I'd feel better if this was getting backed up!
