Sharpe's of Aberdeen market a "Reacter" fly rod made in the UK of Curran
which I believe involves the carrot fibres. I don't think the blanks are
available separately.

Subject: [VFB] Carrot Sticks

Hi gang,

I found in the Cabelas Catalog some fly rods, which use fibers from
carrots (yesss, from these vegetables) as replacement for the usual
carbon, glass, fibers.
Has anybody experience with these rods? Any idea where to get blanks of
carrots.

Rene
