1) If you're going to forward something to a group of
people, take the time to erase all the addresses on it. Gee, it
can't take over 5 seconds.
2) Then put all the addresses of the people you're sending it to
on the "Bcc:" line. Do NOT put their
addresses on the "To:" line.
For you younger folks, Bcc: stands for "Blind Carbon
Copy". (I won't go into why it's called carbon
copy.)
But anyway, that protects everyone's e-mail address from being
displayed, since it doesn't show any of the other addressees in the
header except the recipient.
If these people are good enough friends for you to forward
something to them, you should take the very short time to protect
their security.
