Sorry, being new to the group I erred in building flies to be fished, particularly the Old Fart swap. I will be a bit more meticulous in the future.

I got several numbers of boxes with flies from friends. Swap flies, "flies from friends", flies given to me by other tiers at fairs etc. These flies are like signatures and will never touch water, even if the guy giving it to me has said "Put this one in the fly box and use it in your home waters". They're in a box and never fished but are copied. I find it useful to have originals from the original tyers so that I can see what the fly is supposed to look like.
