J That is what most of us tie. Don't change your style. We have some very proficient tiers amounst us that like realistic flies and classics. I have so many dry and nymph flies, I am starting to tie more steelhead flies. Some are artistic but most are to catch fish not fishermen/women.

I got several numbers of boxes with flies from friends. Swap flies, "flies from friends", flies given to me by other tiers at fairs etc. These flies are like signatures and will never touch water, even if the guy giving it to me has said "Put this one in the fly box and use it in your home waters".
