I like your idea. I could have a whole "library" of kits. And if I take the latest exotic material that I bought just for the newest wonder fly and put it in a kit... six months from now I wouldn't be looking at said material and wondering "Why did I buy this?" I probably still wouldn't get around to tying the fly. Maybe?, I would feel less guilty.
