GREAT! i'm glad for you. i've never been to Alaska.....Misako went with a group once for 10 days fishing. She got skunked one day, and her best day was over 30 Salmon. I've only fished in Idaho a couple times, on the Henry's Fork...........same with Wyoming. I've been to Montana every year since 2002.....fished the Beaverhead and the Big Hole, both for the first time last year. Have never fished the Warm.....but i hear it's really good. The Park is soooooooo special. Caught my first ever Cutthroat on Soda Butte, my second day ever in Montana, first day ever in the Park and first day ever on Soda Butte.....second cast with a Caddis Emerger. Missed him the first cast, then he came up a second time and i got 'em.....19 and a half inches.....and his Day Glow Hot Orange Cutt was as big as my little finger. WOW!!!!! Magnificent fish. We've already been out there once this year but had to just keep driving thru because we had to get back here to Roscoe for an event at the CFFC&M. We had just done the FFF Show in Washington state. We did get to float the Yakimaw River for one day after the show.....BEAUTIFUL river.....goes right through the town of Ellensburg where the show was. A friend who lives there has a drift boat and he took us for a float. We're prolly gonna sneek up to Montana after the big FFF show in Colorado at the end of the month. Or we might just try to find a nice place to fish in Wyoming.....or stay in Colorado and fish.....we're not sure yet. We fished in Colorado last year for bout a month before, during and after http://www.theamericacup.com We had a team in that event. It was fun. Alaska is a dream.....maybe some day.
