Yup, that's tricky business.........i usually screw it up myself..........just being able to completely do NOTHING and let a REALLY BIG fish just GO! Your brain is so trained to do "something." And that's a huge mistake when dealin' with a really big fish. You should do nothing..........NOTHING at all........cept maybe to keep a bit of straight line connection.....without slack and that's it. But to simply let 'em run is not an easy thing to do........we always seem to want to do something to retrieve the fish.....and those big boys will bust you off in a split second. i've lost countless fish because i got to excited and didn't remember to just let that first run GO!
