I bought my fishing license yesterday and made it snow here. Overnight teens,
right now 26deg., 4" snow but not still snowing. Biggest part of it went south
of us and got Cheyenne in the SE corner of the state.

Days before the snow were really nice (pink zone-global warming, lol)). Sunday
night they start the flushing flow on the N.P.River, so I'll hit the lakes next
week when it warms up a bit. Supposed to be back in the hi 50s. That here is
a heat wave- see the chart:

I'm setting up my 15' Gruman Sport-Canoe (alum., wide with square stern) as a
fly-casting platform. Bought some outriggers from Cabelas and will make a deck
with a collapsable (or removable) leaning post up front. It'll mimic a flats
boat, but without the power plant in back and I won't raise up the casting
platform- yet. When I get done, I'll post some photos.

  Subject: [VFB] Flatwing Streamers question

  Hi VFB!

Today, way south of us in northern Califonia, it was 80 degrees at 3600'
elevation. Other than that spike, it's been seasonable weather the past week,
even here in central Oregon. Hopes you are emerging from winter and looking
Springy, like Krystal Flash.

A question: does anyone fish or tye FLATWING STREAMERS? Comments? Links?
Photos?

What's the idea behind the design?

Can you hear the sound of Sowbug? Woooo.

  Bend, Oregon
