It is a bit pricey, but it will lay down a bead of superglue that will absolutely seal around your hole. We used it to totally fix the rusted area around the 1982 Datsun windshield, welded in little preformed metal pieces and it holds wonderfully and doesn't leak. You can get either the fast or slow kind. The fast sets up absolutely in five minutes, the slower in around 15. Be sure to wear gloves because you don't want to get it on your fingers. If you accidently do get some on your fingers, it will come off it you wipe it immediately with alcohol ..supposedly. We had to let ours wear off. We also welded cab corners and truck bed corners with this stuff. In our autobody class we learned that it is actually stronger than a true weld on metal and plastic. It comes in about 10 cc size or larger, has a self mixing spout and works absolutely wonderfully. Hope this helps. Well, the guy wanted $125 for it, which wasn't bad. I got over there, and due to a bad design, one of the bolt heads that holds the cooling cowling on, had rubbed a tiny hole in the (plastic) gas tank. Well, it ran great, but had this problem. So, the guy knocked it down to $75. I almost snatched his arm off LOL..cause that's dirt cheap -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VFB Mail" group.
