I know nothing more about the Peak than what I've seen on pictures and read... and since it's quite new, the highest percent of what I've read is to be found in two to four line posts in discussion forums. I'm not building even a "probable guess" based on statistics like that. I have not forgotten that I have a link to Dyna-King. So feel free to slap me on my fingers in front of others when/if I do and I'm starting making STATEMENTS which stink of pushing... but not when I'm asking a QUESTION... to understand what it is you're saying. To my way of thinking, it represented excellent value in this day and age. The normal price is approx $144.66 with free shipping. 2) While it may not be as visually attractive as the Renzetti, HMH or Dyna-King Barracuda, Barracuda Jnr or Trekker it appears to be well made. 3) It has a full range of extra as do both the Renzetti and Dyna-King such as saltwater or midge jaws, bobbin cradle, waste catcher etc. 4) The reports that I have read indicate that the standard jaws hold the hook well. Obviously, if one ties very large or very small flies, one should use the most suitable jaws. 5) Finally, I believe it does the job just as well as the "equivalent" vises listed above.
