Hmm, had to think about this for a moment.  Each time I tie a pattern, whether
for the first time or to restock, I typically discover a new way to tie it.  It
could be as simple as  attaching material slightly differently to incorporating
a rotary function not used previously.  Quite often I discover a
quicker/simpler way to tie.

The one time I do try to tie duplicates of a pattern identically is for a
swap.  I want everyone to get the same tie hopefully the best way I can tie it.
Then again if I'm tying 12 of one pattern for a swap, there typically will be
"rejects" that end up in my personal fly box.  The fish I catch don't seem to
mind.

try to save it to try out later rather than break my comfortable rhythym."
