I'm not Hans, but I can add. that's today advertising style. Because most buyer think, that you need as much pixel as possible, the seller try to show as much as possible. In this case it is a 3 Meg Pixel camera, and with some rhetoric tricks they upgraded to 12. I won't use a 12 Mpix as webcam. You do not have 3000 time 4000 monitor, so the only effect of such a camera would be that it need a very high speed connection to the internet <G>. But this thing has only 3, so... Rene
