Tony, for me too it has been many years since I tied some of Gary La Fontaine's flies. Another of his flies the Doublewing holds some fond memories for me. Like when I used one to catch trout on one end of a long pool while my 6 month old Springer pup splashed in and out of the water on the other end. Now Tess is 14. The years do go by quickly.

I released the fish sans all the flies. I may try fishing with the attractor/emerger combo myself. Who knows?
