I met Gary several times, he was a real nice person. To be honest with you, I have not done much tying the past couple of years due to health problems. Hope to get back to the bench when I start feeling better. I still do a couple of shows a year. Tony

Another of his flies the Doublewing holds some fond memories for me. Like when I used one to catch trout on one end of a long pool while my 6 month old Springer pup splashed in and out of the water on the other end. Now Tess is 14. The years do go by quickly. I had forgotten about that fly. I guess someone is still using them. I released the fish sans all the flies. I may try fishing with the attractor/emerger combo myself. Who knows? Maybe I can lose a fish (Ha!) for someone else to catch. http://www.springcreekflyshop.com/products/Bethke's-Pink-Squirrel.html http://www.thebookmailer.com/Flies/Emergers/halomayflyemerger.html mo.bmp (699.66K) Gary Webb -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VFB Mail" group.
