    Chuck,
    If using the dental loops, stick the tail end through the bottom of the 
bobbin, don't go through the top end.
    The thin tail end will slip through the bobbin stem and it leaves the loop 
open to run the thread through it.

    Joe: I like whatever kind works LOL.. But unlike that "Mason" type hard 
mono that I wish I had some of to use, this mono I'm using, i just can't seem 
to get that crimp to stay just right, and it is always too wide to go through

      I buy a pack of the mono loops they sell for dental floss.  They come in 
a pack of @25 and are less than $2.00 at Wally World or K Mart.  Since I 
started using them, I haven't used my wire one's at all.  If you really prefer 
the wire threaders, let me know and I will send you one.
