Hi Tom: I've tried a version of the "wet willie" method, but managed to stick the hook in my finger in the process, not once but twice. (Grin).
I have a set of 4 different Sipel tweezers like http://www.all-spec.com/images/product/sipel/1315.jpg which I bought used on E-bay. All four have carbon fibre tips for electrical use, but if I grip firmly, the bead tends to fly out suddenly and if I relax it is only successful in 1 out of 3 attempts approx. They are good for just about everything else BUT beads.
