Hi Tom:

I've tried a version of the "wet willie" method, but managed to stick the hook 
in my finger in the process, not once but twice. (Grin).

 I have a set of 4 different Sipel tweezers like 
http://www.all-spec.com/images/product/sipel/1315.jpg which I bought used on 
E-bay.

All four have carbon fibre tips for electrical use, but if I grip firmly, the 
bead tends to fly out suddenly and if I relax it is only successful in 1 out of 
3 attempts approx. They are good for just about everything else BUT beads.
