It is basically a strip of foam tied in just behind the hook eye and then
folded back and tied off at the tail. Tie in a couple of saddle feathers then
the foam. Fold one side of the foam back then the other side and tie off. This
forms the body. A couple of quilt pins for the eyes and you have it. You can
color it or use colored foam. Black is good for dark days.

Tony: Thanks. It just looked to me that I had tied a frog that was too long and
slender to ride very well on top of the water, so I put the rubber legs in as
stabilizers (out riggers LOL)  Chuck

Folks: I have always been a fan of, and had great success with, Tony's Froggie.
But I had always tied them in bluegill size, on about size 8 hooks. Till now. I
JUST finished this "Bass Froggie". It's tied on a 2/0 or 3/0 wide gape bass
hook (I think) and measures just over 4" long. Ain't the prettiest froggie ever
tied, but I think late in the evening, just before dark, when the bass start
feeding on top. I think they'll KILL this thing. Chuck

Now that you know what I do in the middle of the night, How bout you???? LOL..
'Ol Mr. Insomnia is visiting this weekend I guess..
