Jerry, You can call them "Fat Froggies", they look good. I see you have some small Black ones, are they Spring Peepers.. I tie the Spring Peepers on sz 14 hooks. When the Peepers are out, they are killers on Gills. Are you still working, I would still like to get you out here to tie at the Sowbug. Tony

Instead of using foam strips I use foam cylinders. They tend to float a bit higher in the water than Tony's. Jerry Caruso "All things considered, I'd rather be in Philadelphia." You can also find it on FAOL step by step.. One of the Warm Water sites also has me tying it step by step. I can;t think of the name right now. But I can do it for him!! It's on Tony's tying video. You can order it here: http://tuholer.com/ The recipe is also on that website. It just looked to me that I had tied a frog that was too long and slender to ride very well on top of the water, so I put the rubber legs in as stabilizers (out riggers LOL) Chuck ----- Original Message ----- From: Anthony Spezio To: [email protected] Sent: Monday, August 13, 2012 10:07 AM Subject: Re: [VFB] Bass Froggie Chuck, I ilke the added legs. But I had always tied them in bluegill size, on about size 8 hooks. Till now. I JUST finished this "Bass Froggie". It's tied on a 2/0 or 3/0 wide gape bass hook (I think) and measures just over 4" long. Ain't the prettiest froggie ever tied, but I think late in the evening, just before dark, when the bass start feeding on top. I think they'll KILL this thing. Chuck Now that you know what I do in the middle of the night, How bout you???? LOL.. 'Ol Mr. Insomnia is visiting this weekend I guess..
