Only 11 days until my High Mtn season opens. Hopefully the weather will
cooperate?
I shut off the heater in my pump house a couple days ago, just to save a
few $$. Middle of April
should not see temp below 20 degrees, one would think?
Anyhow, got up late this morning (one of the nice things about getting
older, sleep in) went into the BR
to brush teeth, etc and no water! Out to the pump house (not something
one would choose to do on an
early morning.) but if one wants water. Less than 30 minutes after
plugging the heater back in, I had water
at the house. No broken lines. (thankful for that) There is a heavy
Brass manifold that comes out of the
bottom of the 80 gal pressure tank. If that manifold gets 20 degree of
less temp, no water.
Just thought I would share my interesting morning with all of you.
Wishing everyone better health and more fishin this year.

I think that you are right. I was going like a house on fire some
years ago but the last few years I have slowed down to a snail's pace.
The home nurse just left and he asked me if I had been able to fish.
He said as good as I was doing today that I might of done some fishing
off my dock. I have not had the energy to even consider it. I am going
back to the tying bench this afternoon to see if I can do any tying
today. I am 83 and feeling it.
